this a fantastic mini kit, the dagger looks fantastic, has two awesome sounds, summoning the dragonzord and the original MMPR theme, and has great detail and paint applications.the best part is the fact you can change the batteries because usually products made this small don't have a way to change the batteries, so that is a huge plus. also the dragon coin which serves as the button to activate the sounds is removeable when replacing the battery, so it's like a miniature dragon coin. also the battery type is a very small Lithium Cell CR 1616 battery. overall i recommend this for any fan of the green ranger, and JDF and for fans of the original series in general.
This is really nice. It’s just like a mini legacy dragon dagger. When it came, the batteries didn’t work, but in the box, there were extra batteries and the dagger worked perfectly. Perfect for those who don’t have enough money for the legacy dagger
A lot of people have given this a low score because it's only 3.5" long. Don't listen to them. They didn't read the description. Anyway, here's my reviewGOOD:- Very detailed- Plays Dragonzord call- Also plays MMPR theme when you hold the button longer- Includes extra battery & 8 cool stickersBAD:- Dragonzord call is wrong! The music should be in [A I think] Major, but it plays in Minor.- Arrived with dead battery
Received mine today & at first it didn't work. After opening the battery compartment & fiddling with it a bit it seems that the button sticks a little. Removed the battery & reinserted it, just in case. After putting it back together it works great. Plays both the Dragonzord summoning tune, & as well as a piece of the Power Rangers theme song when you hold the button for 2 seconds. Having seen similar mini novelty gifts at places like Barnes & Noble, & having read the item description, the 3" size wasn't a surprise at all. Overall, it's a fun little novelty item once you get it to work.
Waste of 10 dollars. Didn't realize the dagger is only 3 inches long and the sticker book is like 3 by 3 inches. The dagger has a VERY SHARP POINT and would break the skin easily if kids are playing rough. It's like giving a kid a sharp knife with a sharp point. As they say, could put an eye out. Maybe the music tune it plays means something to fans but it isn't very impressive as a gift.
We spent $100 CAD on the big version of this which actually plays the same song just longer. This is definitely a good deal although my son dropped it once and now the battery opening becomes loose so you need tonnes careful on that. Definitely great deal. The mini book was very cute too!
First off its not a book its a tiny sticker book with 8 stickers. The stickers seem to be good quality. The dagger is tiny. Fits in your palm. It has 2 sounds when you push a button. Im a huge power rangers fan, the green ranger has always been my favorite. So owning all the different types of daggers is a must for me. Thats why I purchased it even tho it has bad reviews. Its a good size for my display case with all my other toys. All in all its a good product as long as you are aware that you are getting a tiny dagger and tiny sticker book with 8 stickers.
Would have given this product 1 star if my son didn't love Power Rangers so much. Just ordered my 3rd sword because the other two broke due to electrical problems, tried replacing battery but still wouldn't work. This third order they provide an extra battery which was very helpful because when we pulled it out of the box the battery was already dead. When it works it is very entertaining to my son.
